SYNOPSIS

     Permits certain members of Senate to remotely attend and participate in August 8, 2022 meeting due to COVID-19 health concerns.

A Senate Resolution to permit, in accordance with R.S.52:1-1 and based on the continued State of Emergency declared by Executive Order 103, certain members of the Senate to remotely attend and participate in the meeting of the Senate scheduled for August 8, 2022 due to COVID-19 health concerns.

 

     Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    In accordance with R.S.52:1-1 and based on the continued State of Emergency declared by Executive Order 103, the following members of the Senate may use electronic means to remotely attend and participate in the meeting of the Senate scheduled for today, August 8, 2022, due to COVID-19 health concerns:

     Senator Cunningham, a member from District 31;

     Senator Diegnan, a member from District 18;

     Senator Gopal, a member from District 11; and

     Senator Rice, a member from District 28.

 

     2.    This resolution shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This resolution permits, in accordance with R.S.52:1-1 and based on the continued State of Emergency declared by Executive Order 103, the following members of the Senate to attend and participate in the meeting of the Senate scheduled for today, August 8, 2022, due to COVID-19 health concerns:

     Senator Cunningham, a member from District 31;

     Senator Diegnan, a member from District 18;

     Senator Gopal, a member from District 11; and

     Senator Rice, a member from District 28.
