SYNOPSIS
Permits DVA to receive voluntary contributions for veteran suicide prevention public service announcements.

An Act permitting the Department of Veterans Affairs to accept moneys for veteran suicide prevention public service announcements and supplementing chapter 22 of Title 38A of the New Jersey Statutes.
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. The Department of Veterans Affairs shall be permitted to accept moneys received by the department as gifts, grants, or donations from the public and private sectors for the purpose of public service announcements for the prevention of veteran suicide.
Moneys received by the department pursuant to this section shall be deposited into a special nonlapsing fund maintained by the State Treasurer. Moneys credited to such account shall be appropriated solely to fund public service announcements for the prevention of veteran suicide.
1The Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of the Treasury shall adopt rules and regulations pursuant to the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.), concerning the receipt of monies by the Department of Veterans Affairs to implement the provisions of this act, P.L. , c. (C. ) (pending before the Legislature as this bill).1
2. This act shall take effect immediately.
