SYNOPSIS

     Provides $3 million supplemental appropriation to Hunterdon Medical Center for building to stockpile personal protective equipment.

A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved, 2022 (P.L.2022, c.    ).

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2022, c....., the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023, there is appropriated from the General Fund the following amount for the purpose specified:

 

 

46 DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH

20 Physical and Mental Health

21 Health Services

 

GRANTS-IN-AID

03-4230  Public Health Protection Services ...................... $3,000,000

                 Total Grants-in-Aid appropriation,                                       

                   Health Services ................................................. $3,000,000

Grants-in-Aid:

         03    Hunterdon Medical Center - PPE Storage Facility ($3,000,000)

 

 

The amount herein appropriated from Hunterdon Medical Center - PPE Storage Facility is allocated to Hunterdon Medical Center for the purpose of constructing a new building for storage of the hospital's stockpile of personal protective equipment.

 

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill makes a supplemental appropriation for fiscal year 2023 of $3 million to Hunterdon Medical Center for the construction of a new building to be used for storage of the hospital's stockpile of personal protective equipment.
