     Appropriates $2 million to Legislative Services Commission.

A Supplement to the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, P.L.2021, c.133.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.  In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2021, c.133, the annual appropriations act for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, there is appropriated from the General Fund the following amount for the purpose specified:

 

01 LEGISLATURE

70 Government Direction, Management, and Control

77 Legislative Commissions and Committees

 

DIRECT STATE SERVICES

        09   Legislative Services Commission ......................  $2,000,000

                 Total Direct State Services Appropriation,                          

                   Legislative Commissions and Committees ....  $2,000,000

     2.  This act shall take effect immediately.

 

 

STATEMENT

 

     This bill appropriates $2 million to the Legislative Services Commission.  The Legislative Services Commission was created by law in 1979 to oversee the continuous revision of the general and permanent statute law of the State.  The commission is also responsible for providing fiscal, legal, and research services through the work of the Office of Legislative Services.
