A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved June 29, 2021 (P.L.2021, c.133).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2021, c.133, the annual State appropriations act for Fiscal Year 2022, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
This bill supplements the FY 2022 appropriations act by appropriating $2 million for the Department of Transportation to fund an overpass project on Route 539, which bisects Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Ocean County. The construction of this overpass would allow large convoys of military vehicles to cross beneath the highway from the Fort Dix and McGuire sections of the joint base to the Lakehurst side without having to use both Route 70 and 539.
