SYNOPSIS

     Requires Department of Health to provide information to Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system regarding the location of safe disposal sites for hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs.

An Act concerning hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs and medication, and supplementing Title 45 of the Revised Statutes.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

      1.   The 1[Division of Consumer Affairs in the]1 Department of 1[Law and Public Safety] Health1 shall periodically provide the Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system with information regarding the location of safe disposal sites for hypodermic syringes and needles and prescription drugs and medication for dissemination to customers of the Statewide 2-1-1 telephone system upon customers' request.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect 180 days after the date of enactment.
