CHAPTER 31

 

An Act appropriating funds to support the use of electronic benefits transfer cards in the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program.

 

     Be It Enacted by the Senate and the General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:

 

     1.    There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Department of Human Services the sum of $813,000.  The Department of Human Services shall use the funds received pursuant to this section to implement the use of electronic benefits transfer cards by persons participating in the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program.

 

     2.    This act shall take effect immediately.

 

     Approved June 30, 2022.
