1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Trent Hoffer of Princeton, Minnesota, for receiving the
1.3Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Trent Hoffer is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 16 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.10service project, which involved refurbishing the wooden play set at the Princeton Evangelical Free
1.11Church, including a bench for parents and a fence between the play area and the parking lot; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on May 23, 2011; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Trent Hoffer of Princeton, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Trent Hoffer.
