1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Michael Jo Schroeder of Brandon, Minnesota, for receiving
1.3the Eagle Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Michael is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 440 and has displayed
1.8the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.10community service project, which involved making improvements at the Brandon-Evansville
1.11School football field by painting the ticket booths, billboard posts, and sideline posts, and building
1.12shelves in a storage room for the youth football organization; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Michael Jo Schroeder for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Michael Jo Schroeder.
