1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring Eve Frank for 40 years of service to Meals on Wheels.
1.3WHEREAS, those who give selflessly of their time and energy to serve others in need are
1.4deserving of special legislative recognition; and
1.5WHEREAS, Eve Frank, director of Hot Meals for Shut Ins, which is under the MOW
1.6umbrella and serves Columbia Heights, Hilltop, Fridley, and Spring Lake Park, started as a
1.7volunteer from her church in 1973, served as director for 38 years, and will retire on May 31; and
1.8WHEREAS, Eve is frequently described as caring, generous, kind, committed, and
1.9passionate about her work, and she personally knows the clients, their families, and all volunteers,
1.10numbering nearly 500; and
1.11NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.12it thanks and commends Eve Frank for 40 years of service to Meals on Wheels, and extends
1.13best wishes to her for her retirement.
1.14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.15enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.16Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Eve Frank.
