A Senate resolution
relating to the joint meeting of the Health and Human Services Finance and Policy
Committee and the Human Services Reform Finance and Policy Committee.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Senate of the State of Minnesota:
Pursuant to Mason's Manual of Legislative Procedure, Section 659, the Health and Human
Services Finance and Policy Committee and the Human Services Reform Finance and Policy
Committee are authorized to sit as one committee of the Senate for the duration of the committee's
consideration and action on the 2017 Omnibus Health and Human Services appropriations bill
designated under Temporary Senate Rule 7.3, clause (7). The report of the committee authorized
by this resolution shall have the effect of a report from the Health and Human Services Finance
and Policy Committee and a report from the Human Services Reform Finance and Policy Committee.
For the purposes of the omnibus appropriations bill authorized by this resolution, the committee
shall have the jurisdiction of both the Health and Human Services Finance and Policy Committee
and the Human Services Reform Finance and Policy Committee.
The committee authorized under this resolution has the following membership:

The committee shall terminate upon the Senate's adoption of the committee's report on the
omnibus appropriations bill.
