1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Macallister Clark of St. Michael, Minnesota, for earning the
1.3rank of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Macallister Clark is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has displayed
1.9the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Macallister has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills, completed a
1.11community service project, which involved leading a team that built duck houses and repaired
1.12fencing for the Crow River Sportsman Club, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain
1.13the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, Macallister is a junior at Providence Academy and plans to pursue an engineering
1.15degree at the Naval Academy with the hopes of becoming an engineer in the Marine Corps; and
1.16WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held; and
1.17NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.18congratulates Macallister Clark of St. Michael, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.19BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.20copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.21Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Macallister Clark.
