1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Chase Moon for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Chase Moon is a member of Boy Scouts of America and has displayed the
1.7attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery in Askov; and
1.10WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011; and
1.11NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.12it congratulates Chase Moon for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.13BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.14copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.15Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Chase Moon.
