1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Andrew Walker of Chanhassen for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Andrew Walker is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 330 who has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member and demonstrated mastery of all
1.9scouting skills; and
1.10WHEREAS, for his community service project, Andrew designed and built an orienteering
1.11course for Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held in recognition of Andrew Walker on
1.13May 24, 2016, at Chanhassen Library; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Andrew Walker for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Andrew Walker.
