1.1A Senate resolution
1.2commending DARE Officer Charles Schuveiller for 22 years of dedicated
1.3service in Brooklyn Park.
1.4WHEREAS, those who work diligently to help protect and serve the public in the field of
1.5law enforcement perform a vital service deserving of special legislative recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, with almost 35,000 hours of classroom instruction with 20,000 students he
1.7has left a lasting impression on the children of Brooklyn Park; and
1.8WHEREAS, Officer Schuveiller was recognized during the March 17 city council meeting
1.9for his 22 years of service as a DARE officer and 30 years as a police officer. He will retire at
1.10the end of May; and
1.11NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.12it commends Officer Charles Schuveiller for his many years of dedication and commitment to
1.13the community.
1.14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.15copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.16Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Officer Charles Schuveiller.
