1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring Cottage Grove Police Detective Greg Malcolm on his retirement.
1.3WHEREAS, those who work tirelessly in their communities to protect the public's safety
1.4and well-being perform an important service deserving of special legislative recognition; and
1.5WHEREAS, the Cottage Grove Public Safety Department collectively serves their community
1.6compassionately providing protection of life and property, and they do it with honor, integrity,
1.7pride, and professionalism; and
1.8WHEREAS, Cottage Grove Police Detective Greg Malcolm recently decided to retire after
1.9nearly 40 years of service; and
1.10NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.11congratulates Cottage Grove Police Detective Greg Malcolm on his years of service to his community
1.12and extends best wishes to him in his retirement.
1.13BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.14enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.15Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Detective Greg Malcolm.
