1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Alex Sable of Lakeville, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle
1.3Award.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.6that is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Alex Sable is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 235 and has
1.8displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.10service project, which involved installing 12 stands to hold multiple bat houses in Lakeville's East
1.11Community Park, thereby reducing the park's mosquito population without using pesticides; and
1.12WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on June 10, 2015, in recognition of
1.13Alex Sable; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Alex Sable of Lakeville, Minnesota, for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Alex Sable.
