1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Everett Needleman of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for earning
1.3the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Everett Needleman, a student at Southwest High School, is a member of the
1.9Boy Scouts of America Troop 1 and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving
1.10member; and
1.11WHEREAS, Everett Needleman has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has
1.12completed a community service project, which involved helping to solve a leaking basement and
1.13provide some landscaping beautification with a rain garden at Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge,
1.14and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on August 24, 2019; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Everett Needleman of Minneapolis, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Everett Needleman.
