1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Brayden Schultz of New Prague, Minnesota, for earning the rank of
1.3Eagle Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Brayden Schultz is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 9323 and
1.9has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Brayden has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.11community service project, which involved completing outside work on a re-entry home for Scott
1.12County, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. The re-entry
1.13home is used by the Community Corrections Department for people who are coming out of jail or
1.14prison and do not have a place to live. The project included landscaping and cleaning up overgrown
1.15trees and bushes to make the home more presentable, tearing out and replacing rotting deck boards
1.16on the patio, and replacing the stairs. It also included replacing the window and casing around the
1.17window to ensure the window wouldn't leak and cause further damage; and
1.18WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on April 24, 2022; and
1.19NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.20congratulates Brayden Schultz of New Prague, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.21BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.22copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.23Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Brayden Schultz.
