1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Kevin Riepe for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Kevin Riepe is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has displayed the
1.7attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project, which involved restoring the snowmobile hut in Cottage Grove
1.10Regional Ravine Park; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on May 19, 2011; and
1.12NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.13it congratulates Kevin Riepe for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.14BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.15copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.16Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Kevin Riepe.
