1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER
1.6COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
1.7(a) $150,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $150,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated
1.8from the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for grants to the Mississippi
1.9Headwaters Board for up to 50 percent of the cost of implementing the comprehensive
1.10plan for the upper Mississippi River within areas under the board's jurisdiction.
1.11(b) $10,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $10,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated from
1.12the general fund to the commissioner of natural resources for payment to the Leech Lake
1.13Band of Chippewa Indians to implement the band's portion of the comprehensive plan
1.14for the upper Mississippi River.
