1.2relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to the Boys

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.
1.6$750,000 in fiscal year 2012 and $750,000 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated from
1.7the workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic
1.8development for a grant to the Minnesota Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs to administer a
1.9statewide project of youth job skills development. This project, which may have career
1.10guidance components, including health and life skills, is to encourage, train, and assist
1.11youth in job-seeking skills, workplace orientation, and job site knowledge through
1.12coaching. This grant requires a 25 percent match from nonstate resources.
