1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. EMERGENCY SERVICES GRANTS; TRANSITIONAL HOUSING.
1.6(a) $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of human
1.7services for the biennium beginning July 1, 2011. Of this appropriation:
1.8(1) $....... is for transitional housing programs. Up to ten percent of this appropriation
1.9may be used for housing and services which extend beyond 24 months; and
1.10(2) $....... is for emergency services grants.
1.11(b) No more than five percent of this appropriation is available for administrative
1.12expenses. This appropriation is in addition to any base funding and shall become part of
1.13the agency's base.
