1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [137.0231] FORMER LEGISLATORS ON BOARD OF REGENTS;
1.7LIMITATION.
1.8No more than one former Minnesota state legislator may serve on the Board of
1.9Regents at the same time.
1.10EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment;
1.11however, any member of the Board of Regents who is a former Minnesota state legislator
1.12may serve the remainder of the member's current term on the Board of Regents.
