1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. [179A.26] EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATION; TRANSPARENCY.
1.6By June 30 of each year, the state organization of the exclusive representative, if
1.7any, of a unit that consists of employees in a school district or another public education
1.8setting, must provide a detailed itemized annual financial report to each member of the
1.9unit that must at least include: the dollar amounts of total member dues paid; campaign
1.10expenditures of the state organization of the exclusive representative, whether attributable
1.11to national, state, or local elections; salary and benefits per employee and the names
1.12of employees of the state organization of the exclusive representative; and negotiation
1.13costs and teacher legal representation costs of the state organization of the exclusive
1.14representative.
