1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. MINNESOTA STATE COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES
1.6LEVERAGED EQUIPMENT ACQUISITION; APPROPRIATION.
1.7$21,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of Trustees of the
1.8Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for the biennium ending June 30, 2015, for
1.9leveraged equipment acquisitions. For the purpose of this section, "equipment" means
1.10equipment for instructional purposes for programs that the board has determined would
1.11produce graduates with skills for which there is a high employer need within the state. An
1.12equipment acquisition may be made using this appropriation only if matched by cash or
1.13in-kind contributions from nonstate sources. This is a onetime appropriation.
