1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for an aviation maintenance
1.3expansion project at Northland Community and Technical College; authorizing
1.4the sale and issuance of state bonds.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. NORTHLAND COMMUNITY AND TECHNICAL COLLEGE;
1.7AVIATION MAINTENANCE FACILITY EXPANSION.
1.8 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $6,359,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.9fund to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities to
1.10construct, furnish, and equip the expansion of the aviation maintenance facilities on
1.11the campus of Northland Community and Technical College in the city of Thief River
1.12Falls. The site modification plan, including demolition, will allow for multiplatform and
1.13multiuse training for the aviation maintenance workforce.
1.14 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the
1.15bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue
1.16bonds of the state in an amount up to $6,359,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with
1.17the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
1.18Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
