1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY GRANT.
1.6$2,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
1.7administration for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015, for a grant to a statewide nonprofit
1.8organization that is exclusively dedicated to the issues of access to and the acquisition of
1.9assistive technology. The purpose of the grant is to acquire assistive technology and to
1.10work in tandem with individuals using this technology to create career paths.
