1.3Department of Transportation expenditures on transportation alternatives;
1.4amending Minnesota Statutes 2013 Supplement, section 174.42, subdivision 2.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2013 Supplement, section 174.42, subdivision 2, is
1.7amended to read:
1.8 Subd. 2. Funding requirement. In each federal fiscal year, the commissioner
1.9shall obtain a total amount in federal authorizations for reimbursement on transportation
1.10alternatives projects that is equal to or greater than the annual average of federal
1.11authorizations on transportation alternatives projects calculated overthe preceding four
1.12 federal fiscal years 2010 to 2012.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment and
1.14applies to authorizations for federal fiscal year 2015 and subsequent federal fiscal years.
