1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a new water main in
1.3Rice Lake Township, St. Louis County; authorizing the sale and issuance of
1.4state bonds.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. RICE LAKE TOWNSHIP; PUBLIC INFRASTRUCTURE.
1.7 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $1,168,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.8fund to the Public Facilities Authority for a grant to Rice Lake Township in St. Louis
1.9County to design and construct a replacement water main and install new fire hydrants
1.10on East Calvary Road and Kolstad, Austin, Milwaukee, Mather, and Chicago Avenues
1.11in Rice Lake Township. This appropriation is not available until the commissioner of
1.12management and budget determines that at least an equal amount has been committed to
1.13the project from nonstate sources.
1.14 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the
1.15bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue
1.16bonds of the state in an amount up to $1,168,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with
1.17the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
1.18Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.19EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
