1.2relating to clean water; appropriating money for Lake Elmo water supply
1.3improvements.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. LAKE ELMO; WATER SUPPLY.
1.6$4,000,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the clean water fund to the
1.7commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city of Lake
1.8Elmo to acquire land and easements and design, construct, and equip a booster station and
1.9water main lines along Inwood Avenue and Lake Elmo Avenue and to acquire land and
1.10easements and design, construct, and equip a water tower on the corner of Inwood Avenue
1.11and 10th Street. This appropriation is not available until the commissioner of management
1.12and budget determines that at least an equal amount is committed to the project from
1.13nonstate sources. The appropriation is available until expended.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
