1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. SUPPLEMENTAL COUNTY PROGRAM AID FOR 2014.
1.6(a) Each county whose certified aid for 2014 under Minnesota Statutes, section
1.7477A.0124, is less than the aid it received under that section in 2013, shall be eligible for
1.8supplemental aid in 2014 equal to the difference between the amount received in 2013
1.9and the amount certified for 2014.
1.10(b) The aid under this section shall be paid in the same manner and at the same time
1.11as the regular aid payments under Minnesota Statutes, section 477A.0124.
1.12(c) The amount necessary to pay supplemental aid under this section is appropriated
1.13from the general fund to the commissioner of revenue.
1.14EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective July 1, 2014.
