1.3projects;amending Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 144A.073, by adding a

1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 144A.073, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8 Subd. 14. Moratorium exception funding. Beginning in fiscal year 2014 and each
1.9subsequent fiscal year, the commissioner of health may approve moratorium exception
1.10projects under this section for which the full annualized state share of medical assistance
1.11costs does not exceed $1,000,000. The combination of this authorization with the
1.12carryover of unused funds in subdivision 2 and expired projects in subdivision 11 cannot
1.13exceed a total authorization of $1,500,000 in state medical assistance funding available
1.14in any fiscal year.
1.15EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
