1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to Canis latrans; providing a coyote conflict management option for
1.3counties or towns;proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter
1.4348.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. [348.125] COYOTE CONFLICT MANAGEMENT OPTION.
1.7A county or town board may, by resolution, offer a bounty for the taking of coyotes
1.8(Canis latrans) by all legal methods. The resolution may be made applicable to the whole
1.9or any part of the county or town. The bounty must apply during the months specified in
1.10the resolution and be in an amount determined by the board.

1.11    Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
1.12Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
