1.2relating to natural resources; establishing a shooting sports facility grant
1.3program; appropriating money;proposing coding for new law in Minnesota
1.4Statutes, chapter 87A.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.6    Section 1. [87A.10] SHOOTING SPORTS FACILITY GRANTS.
1.7The commissioner of natural resources shall administer a program to provide
1.8cost-share grants to local recreational shooting clubs for up to 50 percent of the costs
1.9of developing or rehabilitating shooting sports facilities for public use. A facility
1.10rehabilitated or developed with a grant under this section must be open to the general
1.11public at reasonable times and for a reasonable fee on a walk-in basis.

1.12    Sec. 2. APPROPRIATION.
1.13$2,000,000 in fiscal year 2015 is appropriated from the game and fish fund to the
1.14commissioner of natural resources for shooting sports facility grants under Minnesota
1.15Statutes, section 87A.10.
