1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. [84D.16] AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES COOPERATIVE
1.7RESEARCH CENTER.
1.8The following amounts are appropriated from the outdoor heritage fund to the Board
1.9of Regents of the University of Minnesota for the Aquatic Invasive Species Cooperative
1.10Research Center to develop and implement new technologies to permanently control
1.11aquatic invasive species:
1.12(1) $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2014;
1.13(2) $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2015;
1.14(3) $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2016; and
1.15(4) $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2017.
1.16 Sec. 2. AQUATIC INVASIVE SPECIES COOPERATIVE RESEARCH
1.17CENTER; APPROPRIATION.
1.18$750,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2013 from the outdoor heritage fund to the
1.19Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota to establish an Aquatic Invasive Species
1.20Cooperative Research Center.
