1.3streets in the city of Maple Plain; authorizing the sale and issuance of state bonds.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. CITY STREETS IN MAPLE PLAIN.
1.6 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $930,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.7fund to the commissioner of transportation for a grant to the city of Maple Plain to design,
1.8remove, and reconstruct three intersections located on Main Street and one intersection
1.9located on Maple Avenue, including the replacement of aging sewer and water lines. This
1.10appropriation is not available until the commissioner determines that a match of not less
1.11than $930,000 has been committed to the project from nonstate sources.
1.12 Subd. 2. Bond sale authorization. To provide the money appropriated in this
1.13section from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall
1.14sell and issue bonds of the state in an amount up to $930,000 in the manner, upon the
1.15terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675,
1.16and by the Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.17EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
