1.3infrastructure fund grant to the city of Albert Lea; amending Laws 2011, First
1.4Special Session chapter 12, section 19.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Laws 2011, First Special Session chapter 12, section 19, is amended to read:
1.9To the Public Facilities Authority for
1.10grants to eligible municipalities under the
1.11wastewater infrastructure funding program
1.12under Minnesota Statutes, section446A.072 .
1.13Notwithstanding the criteria and requirements
1.14of Minnesota Statutes, section 446A.072,
1.15up to $1,000,000 of this appropriation is for
1.16a grant to the city of Albert Lea to design,
1.17construct, and equip water and sewer utilities
1.18in the area of Broadway Avenue and Main
1.19Street. This project may include demolition
1.20of deteriorating concrete curbs, gutters,
1.21sidewalks, and streets above the utilities,
1.22and the construction costs to replace and
1.23rehabilitate the infrastructure.
2.1EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
