1.2relating to state lands; requiring the private sale of state land in Goodhue County.
1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.4 Section 1. PRIVATE SALE OF SURPLUS STATE LAND; GOODHUE COUNTY.
1.5(a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 94.09 and 94.10, the commissioner
1.6of natural resources shall sell by private sale the surplus land that is described in paragraph
1.7(c) to an adjacent landowner.
1.8(b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The
1.9attorney general may make necessary changes to the legal description to correct errors
1.10and ensure accuracy.
1.11(c) The land that shall be sold is located in Goodhue County and is described as:
1.12(1) that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 36,
1.13Township 112 North, Range 15 West, Goodhue County, Minnesota described as follows:
1.14commencing at the northeast corner of said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter;
1.15thence West along the north line thereof a distance of 121.00 feet; thence South parallel
1.16with the east line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter a distance of 469.00
1.17feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence deflecting 74 degrees
1.1805 minutes 35 seconds left a distance of 125.82 feet to a point on the east line of said
1.19Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter; thence South along said east line of the
1.20Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter a distance of 34.35 feet; thence deflecting
1.2168 degrees 41 minutes 35 seconds right a distance of 192.41 feet; thence deflecting 21
1.22degrees 34 minutes 56 seconds right, parallel with the north line of said Southwest Quarter

2.6North, parallel with the east line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, a
2.7distance of 76.00 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.38 acres, more or less; and
2.8(2) that part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 36,
2.9Township 112 North, Range 15 West, Goodhue County, Minnesota lying westerly of the
2.10centerline of Goodhue County Road No. 3; which lies southerly of Line 1 described below
2.11and northerly of a line 33.00 feet southerly and parallel with said Line 1:
2.12Line 1. Commencing at the northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of the
2.13Northeast Quarter; thence West along the north line thereof a distance of 121.00 feet;
2.14thence South parallel with the east line of said Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
2.15a distance of 469.00 feet to the point of beginning of Line 1; thence deflecting 74 degrees
2.1605 minutes 35 seconds left a distance of 188.56 feet to a point of tangential curve to
2.17the left, radius of 891.33 feet; thence easterly along said curve, concave to the North,
