1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 490.121, subdivision 21d, is amended to
1.6read:
1.7 Subd. 21d. Mandatory retirement date. "Mandatory retirement date" means
1.8the last day of the month in which December 31 of the year of a general election after
1.9 a judge has attained70 72 years of age.
1.10EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective July 1, 2013.
