1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. MARKED TRUNK HIGHWAY 14 APPROPRIATION.
1.6$431,600,000 is appropriated to the commissioner of transportation from the trunk
1.7highway fund for fiscal year 2013. Of this amount: (1) $219,000,000 is for acquisition
1.8of right-of-way and construction or reconstruction of marked Trunk Highway 14 as a
1.9four-lane divided highway, from the interchange with marked Interstate Highway 35 near
1.10the city of Owatonna to the point near the city of Dodge Center at which marked Trunk
1.11Highway 14 constitutes a four-lane divided highway, located southeast of the intersection
1.12with marked Trunk Highway 56; and (2) $212,600,000 is for acquisition of right-of-way
1.13and construction or reconstruction of marked Trunk Highway 14 as a four-lane divided
1.14highway, from the city of New Ulm to the intersection with Nicollet County State-Aid
1.15Highway 6, located west of the city of North Mankato.
1.16Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.28, this appropriation is available
1.17for five years following the year of appropriation.
1.18EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective July 1, 2013.
