1.2relating to capital investment; appropriating money for Elbow Lake transit

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. ELBOW LAKE; TRANSIT FACILITIES.
1.6 Subdivision 1. Appropriation. $800,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds
1.7fund to the commissioner of transportation for greater Minnesota transit systems to be
1.8used for transit capital facilities under Minnesota Statutes, section 174.24, subdivision 3c.
1.9This appropriation is to be used for up to 80 percent of the nonfederal share of costs. This
1.10appropriation is for a grant to the Rainbow Rider Transit Board for the Elbow Lake bus
1.11garage in Grant County.
1.12 Subd. 2. Bond sale. To provide the money appropriated in this section from the
1.13bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue
1.14bonds of the state in an amount up to $800,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with
1.15the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the
1.16Minnesota Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
1.17EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
