1.1A Senate concurrent resolution
1.2relating to parking space in the capitol area for members of the Legislature and staff.
1.3BE IT RESOLVED, by the Senate of the State of Minnesota, the House of Representatives
1.4concurring:
1.5The Commissioner of Administration shall reserve all parking space necessary on the
1.6Capitol grounds, Capitol Approach, and Aurora Avenue, in the State Office Building ramp, and
1.7elsewhere in the capitol area for the use of the members and staff of the Legislature for the
1.889th session of the Legislature, allowing reasonable space for parking to the general public
1.9having business at the Capitol. The Committee on Rules and Administration of the Senate and
1.10the Committee on Rules and Legislative Administration of the House of Representatives may
1.11designate necessary personnel to work with the Commissioner of Administration in this matter.
1.12The Secretary of the Senate and the Controller of the House of Representatives may deduct
1.13from the check of any legislator or legislative employee in each year of the 89th session of the
1.14Legislature a sum adequate to cover the exercise of the parking privilege defined in this resolution
1.15in conformity with the practice of the Commissioner of Administration.
