1.2relating to natural resources; appropriating money for monitoring Red River
1.3of the North.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; RED RIVER OF THE NORTH MONITORING.
1.6$100,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $100,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated from
1.7the clean water fund to the commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency for grants to
1.8the Red River Watershed Management Board to enhance and expand the existing water
1.9quality and watershed monitoring river watch activities in the schools in the Red River of
1.10the North Watershed. The Red River Watershed Management Board shall provide a report
1.11to the commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency and the legislative committees and
1.12divisions with jurisdiction over environment and natural resources finance and policy and
1.13the clean water fund by February 15, 2015, on the expenditure of these funds.
