1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to state lands; providing for public sale of certain tax-forfeited land
1.3bordering public waters in Freeborn County.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC
1.6WATERS; FREEBORN COUNTY.
1.7(a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision 1,
1.8Freeborn County may sell the tax-forfeited land bordering public waters that is described
1.9in paragraph (c).
1.10(b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The
1.11attorney general may make necessary changes to the legal description to correct errors
1.12and ensure accuracy.
1.13(c) The land to be sold is in Freeborn County and is described as: Parcel ID No.
1.1425.040.0040 in Section 34, Township 104 North, Range 23 West.
1.15(d) The county has determined that the county's land management interests would be
1.16best served if the land was returned to private ownership.
1.17EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
