1.1A bill for an act
1.2relating to state lands; providing for public and private sale of certain
1.3tax-forfeited lands in Crow Wing County.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

1.5    Section 1. PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC
1.6WATERS; CROW WING COUNTY.
1.7(a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, and the public
1.8sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Crow Wing County may sell by
1.9private sale to the adjoining landowner the tax-forfeited lands bordering public waters
1.10that are described in paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes,
1.11chapter 282.
1.12(b) The conveyances must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The
1.13attorney general may make necessary changes to the legal descriptions to correct errors
1.14and ensure accuracy.
1.15(c) The lands to be sold are in Crow Wing County and are described as:
1.16(1) parcel ID No. 060354202B00009;
1.17(2) parcel ID No. 060354303A00009;
1.18(3) parcel ID No. 060354304CA0009; and
1.19(4) parcel ID No. 1010300100AA009.
1.20(d) The county has determined that the county's land management interests would be
1.21best served if the lands were returned to private ownership.
1.22EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.

2.1    Sec. 2. PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC
2.2WATERS; CROW WING COUNTY.
2.3(a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 282.018, subdivision
2.41, Crow Wing County may sell the tax-forfeited land bordering public waters that is
2.5described in paragraph (c).
2.6(b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general. The
2.7attorney general may make necessary changes to the legal description to correct errors
2.8and ensure accuracy.
2.9(c) The land to be sold is in Crow Wing County and is described as: parcel ID
2.10No. 840063205I00009.
2.11(d) The county has determined that the county's land management interests would be
2.12best served if the land was returned to private ownership.
2.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
