1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; HEART OF THE EARTH INTERPRETIVE
1.6CENTER, MINNEAPOLIS.
1.7$5,500,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2012 from the arts and cultural heritage
1.8fund to the commissioner of administration for a grant to the Heart of the Earth Survival
1.9School, Inc. to predesign, design, renovate, furnish, and equip the Henry B. Frey residence
1.10as the Heart of the Earth Interpretive Center. This appropriation is not available until at
1.11least $1,500,000 is committed to the project from other sources.
