1.2relating to employment; modifying overtime requirements for certain air carrier
1.3employees; amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 177.25, by adding a
1.4subdivision.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 177.25, is amended by adding a
1.7subdivision to read:
1.8 Subd. 5. Air carrier employees. Subdivision 1 does not apply to employees of air
1.9carriers subject to the provisions of title II of the Railway Labor Act, when the hours
1.10worked by an employee in excess of 48 in a workweek are not required by the carrier,
1.11but are arranged through a voluntary agreement among employees to trade scheduled
1.12work hours.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
