1.2relating to transportation; highways; prohibiting a MnPASS facility on a segment
1.3of Interstate Highway 35E.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. PROHIBITION ON MNPASS FACILITY.
1.6Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 160.93, the commissioner of
1.7transportation may not establish along any segment of marked Interstate Highway 35E
1.8between the interchange with marked Interstate Highway 94 and the interchange with
1.9marked Interstate Highway 694:
1.10(1) a toll facility, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 160.84, subdivision 9; or
1.11(2) a high-occupancy vehicle lane or dynamic shoulder lane, as defined in Minnesota
1.12Statutes, section 160.02, subdivision 18a, which imposes user fees.
1.13EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
