1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2012, section 148.171, subdivision 3, is amended to read:
1.6 Subd. 3. Advanced practice registered nurse. "Advanced practice registered
1.7nurse," abbreviated APRN, means an individual licensed asa an advanced practice
1.8 registered nurse by the board and certified by a national nurse certification organization
1.9acceptable to the board to practice as a clinical nurse specialist, nurse anesthetist,
1.10nurse-midwife, or nurse practitioner.
